actually..two friends, Shazia and Nazia, who were born the same day and at the same time. Their fathers also die the same day and they grow up in the same house. An old Sufi baba predicts on their birth that their fates are entwined and they will bring each other misery and bad luck if they stay together. Nazia is sweet, pretty and naive while Shazia is bold, outspoken and adventurous. Every aspect of Shazia and Nazia’s daily routine is controlled by the three women who run the house – Habiba, Sajida and Salima. Their house is frozen in time as these three mothers bring up the girls in an old-fashioned way, where they are not allowed to exercise free will, even if it could bring happiness to their lives. Finally, the girls take a drastic step that sets off a chain of events which have immense repercussion on their lives. Will Nazia and Shazia overcome their personal daemons and achieve happiness?
